- Designing the structural components of space platforms such as satellites and orbit transfer vehicles, prioritizing their safety and efficiency by referencing defined engineering requirements.
- Adapting to Fergani Space's dynamic engineering structure and staying up-to-date with relevant engineering and design change processes.
- Interpreting inputs from collaborating engineering teams and ensuring the sustainability of the design life cycle by transferring these inputs to responsible tasks.
- Maintaining total weight and balance limits during the design process and conducting structural lightening studies.
- Designing structures such as constructions, panels, and brackets for space platforms.
- Designing panels integrating sensitive components considering factors such as heat transfer, structural strength, and radiation resistance.
- Designing propulsion systems, solar panels, thermal insulation blankets, separation mechanisms, and interface and integration designs for electronic equipment.
- Optimizing the weight center and moment of inertia of space platforms in different configurations and according to specific requirements.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks such as stress, deformation, fatigue, vibration, and resonance.
- Managing design processes by carefully considering geometric dimensioning and tolerancing accumulations.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Preferably, at least 1 year of experience in mechanical or structural design (including academic, internship, competition, and project experience).
- Experience with any 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA V5/V6, etc.).
- Proficiency in using computational engineering support applications at a basic level (preferably MATLAB, Python COMSOL, ABAQUS, LabVIEW, PTC Creo).

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, coating, heat treatment, thermal control paints, laser and plasma cutting-bending, cutting tools, and their properties.
- Knowledge of material selection and detailed design and assembly of complex structural and mechanical systems, as well as quality control stages.
- Knowledge of optimization and DOE methods applied to testing, analysis, and design.
- Ability to carry out technical documentation processes such as work orders and operation instructions.
- Proficiency in Bill of Materials (BOM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) topics.

Additional Requirements:

- Proficiency in English (TOEFL 80 and above, IELTS 6.5 and above, YDS and YÖKDİL 65 and above preferred).
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Preferably a master's or doctoral degree.
