Design Technologies – Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer who will manage end-to-end design processes, follow technical decision-making activities, and ensure technical coordination between design, analysis, and manufacturing teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering disciplines,
- Familiarity with space/satellite systems development processes and multidisciplinary design environments,
- Knowledge of technical documentation and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes,
- Familiarity with PLM platforms (e.g., 3DEXPERIENCE), task tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and ERP systems,
- Knowledge of part manufacturing documentation processes,
- Basic technical knowledge of CAD tools (preferably CATIA), part manufacturing, and structural/thermal analysis processes at a level sufficient to understand and interpret technical team activities,
- Strong analytical thinking skills with a solution- and result-oriented mindset,
- Highly disciplined in follow-up, with strong time management and prioritization skills,
- Team-oriented with a high sense of responsibility,
- Proficient in written and spoken English,
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and flexible working hours.
Job Description
- Plan and coordinate technical and project management processes related to structural part manufacturing work packages,
- Manage work packages through Jira; track actions, milestones, and project schedules,
- Monitor and report project progress through technical performance metrics,
- Organize internal and cross-functional meetings and follow up on decisions and action items,
- Identify technical, operational, manufacturability, supply chain, and testing risks at early stages and establish action plans,
- Analyze design parameters (mass/volume budget, material selection, etc.) and coordinate technical decision-making processes,
- Manage feedback loops between hardware, software, analysis, testing, manufacturing, and integration teams,
- Ensure technical and operational coordination with suppliers and business partners,
- Track the team’s procurement processes through the ERP system and coordinate with supply chain teams,
- Ensure project documentation is managed through relevant platforms and coordinate the preparation and controlled sharing of documents in compliance with standards.
