Orbit, Attitude Determination and Control Technologies – Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer who will take part in space systems development projects and be responsible for project management and coordination between system, hardware, embedded software, integration, and operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering disciplines,
  • Knowledge of ECSS, NASA, or similar space systems standards,
  • Familiarity with satellite subsystems, embedded systems, and orbit, attitude determination and control (AOCS/ADCS) concepts,
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams,
  • Knowledge of task management tools (e.g., Jira), PLM platforms (e.g., 3DEXPERIENCE), and ERP systems,
  • Familiarity with systems engineering processes, requirements management, and verification activities,
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
  • Well-developed planning, tracking, and prioritization abilities,
  • Team-oriented with a high sense of responsibility,
  • Proficient in written and spoken English,
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and flexible working hours,
  • Preferably knowledgeable in hardware-in-the-loop / software-in-the-loop simulations (HIL/SIL), MATLAB/Simulink, STK, Python, or similar engineering tools.

Job Description

  • Monitor orbit, attitude determination, and control development activities in line with project plans,
  • Coordinate technical teams to ensure timely completion of work packages,
  • Track requirements, design, verification, and integration processes,
  • Manage work packages through Jira; monitor actions, milestones, and project schedules,
  • Plan and coordinate software-in-the-loop (SIL) simulation activities,
  • Follow the progress of AOCS/ADCS algorithm development, analysis, and testing activities in accordance with project objectives,
  • Coordinate in-team activities related to attitude and orbit performance analysis of operational satellites,
  • Identify technical and operational risks within the project scope and establish necessary action plans,
  • Organize internal and cross-functional meetings and follow up on decisions and action items,
  • Ensure project documentation is managed through relevant platforms and coordinate the preparation and controlled sharing of documents in compliance with standards.
