Welding Technician / Welder

We are looking for Welding Technicians / Welders to be assigned to our pressurized tank manufacturing and machine construction production activities.

General Qualifications

Graduated from a Vocational High School or Vocational College,

Able to read technical drawings and effectively use measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, etc.),

Team-oriented, responsible, and highly disciplined in work practices,

Able to work in full compliance with defined Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS),

Holds a Class B driver’s license and actively able to drive,

No restrictions for domestic or international travel,

For male candidates, military service must be completed or deferred,

Residing in or willing to relocate to the European side of Istanbul,

Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and flexible working hours.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in TIG (Argon / 141) welding on stainless steel and aluminum materials,

Experience in or knowledge of pressure vessel and tank manufacturing processes,

Possession of TS EN ISO 9606-1 (Stainless Steel) and TS EN ISO 9606-2 (Aluminum) certifications, or the ability to weld in accordance with these standards,

Knowledge of PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) regulations, with welds suitable for Radiographic (RT) and Ultrasonic (UT) testing,

Experience in aluminum welding processes, including surface cleaning, filler wire selection, and material behavior (heat input, distortion, etc.),

Ability to perform MIG/MAG (GMAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW / Stick Welding) when required.

Job Description

Performing welding operations for fuel tanks, storage tanks, and machine constructions in accordance with technical drawings,

Carrying out joint preparation, assembly, and welding processes in compliance with pressure vessel standards,

Welding tank shells and dished ends (heads) in accordance with project dimensions, ensuring full penetration, without overheating (discoloration) or compromising structural integrity,

Actively participating in mechanical assembly, cutting, drilling, grinding, fitting, and alignment processes required by manufacturing, in compliance with technical standards and workflow,

Strictly complying with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations throughout the production process,

Performing daily maintenance and cleaning of welding machines and equipment,

Working in coordination with the production supervisor to ensure manufacturing activities are carried out in line with the production plan.
